Birds of the prey and the fantabulous emancipation of harley quinn
Plot: after the events of suicide squad, harley quinn was left by the joker. and harley quinn want to show to the world that she is more than the girlfriend of the joker for an accident found cassandra cain that found a diamond of the kingpin "Black Mask". after some events harley quinn make a new group conformed by huntress, black canary, renee maria montoya and cassandra cain.
the way margot robbie show us the movie is like the deadpool of DC, but actually she don't select any actual gender for his movie. the reason of harley quinn helps cassandra cain is for redeeming himself puting his life in danger, and she take that decision in one moment and the relacion between them feels forced as like the reason of making the group. and they decide to be a group nearly at the end making more forced relationships of this movie.
why harley quinn and others? because she is the only principal character of the movie and even with huntress and renee montoya you could delete them from the movie and it would be the same.
a big part of the movie is like when suicide squad try to tell the story of the characters it feels kind of empty for the public and this just makes the movie confusing.
Conclusion: they should say that its a harley quinn movie not a birds of prey movie or just give more importance to the others characters. and this movie just make worst the reputation of DC in movies excluding Shazam and aquaman
